The Primary Current Injection Set PIS-1250-2500-5000 is a high current supply unit, which is very easy to move about because of its convenient modular design. The primary injection set PIS-1250-2500-5000 is a compact instrument with a built-in ammeter, which meets the stringent requirements for accuracy, easy handling and performance.PIS-1250-2500-5000  comprises  of  two  portable  units  viz.  Control  Unit  and Transformer Unit with suitable terminals and metering, housed in painted M.S. Boxes, which can be mounted on a foldable trolley (optional) for easy transportation. The Control Unit incorporates a Variac/Dimmerstat, an Ammeter and MCB’s for switching & protection. The Transformer unit comprises of the four coils, each  of rating-1250A/4V. The output range is selected by the series or parallel connections, thus giving an output of 0-1250 A at 16 V or 0-2500 A at 8 V or  0-5000 A at 4 V, respectively. The shorting strips are provided.Features: Primary testing of protective relay equipment. Turn ratio testing of current transformer. Testing Switchgear/Control gear.
